Just a short note to keep you up to date with my diabetes. I have been insulin dependant since 1987. For the first seven years I took massive daily doses of an incredibly powerful painkiller - Codral Forte. This was for extreme pain in both feet caused by severe neuropathy. I could hardly walk and all doctors told me I could no
longer remain on my feet for more than ten minutes at a time. It was recommended that I accept a total disability pension from the Government. When I came off an aeroplane, it was often in a chair and I had begun using a stick to walk. My health was in a mess. The list of prescription medication that it was necessary for me to use required me to carry a letter of explanation from my doctor for Customs purposes when traveling. Codral Forte, for example, is now no longer available.
In 1994/95, I discovered an encapsulated fruit and vegetable food supplement. It happened almost by accident and I was extremely skeptical.
Since 1996 I have eliminated virtually all medications. Doctors had told me that I would continue to take pain killers until all nerve ends in my feet died. With Healthy Essentials I proved this wrong. My feet have improved dramatically. The gradual improvement in my health has astounded all around me. I am even back to daily workouts and playing tennis four days a week as well as coaching young basketballers. I believe in my heart that the amazing whole food product has virtually saved and changed my life.
There is no doubt it has had a wonderful effect on my family. No longer do they feel they were watching me slowly die in front of them. It is no wonder I preach my Healthy Essentials message. I know we can help everyone to a better quality of life. I have been astounded by the human body's ability to rebuild itself IF it is given the right nutrition.
Healthy Essentials does that in the extreme. One final note. Even after being insulin dependent for so many years, I have reduced my dosage by almost half, another thing I was told was not possible. Another wonderful benefit is my vision is 100 percent perfect. Blindness is yet another major catastrophy with diabetics.
I hope this brief note helps in a small way.

Dear Sir or Madam:
I was diagnosed with Diabetes in 1996. I am not on insulin but am controlling it with diet and exercise.
I have for the last few years had horrible burning in my feet. It is hard to wear shoes because my feet burn so bad, but being diabetic I cannot go without shoes.
I started taking Natures Healthy Essentials Fruits & Vegetables supplement in December 2002 and noticed after the first month that the burning was not quite so bad. I have now been on them for 2 ½ months and the burning, although not completely gone yet, has improved to the point that I hardly notice it and can take 2 walks a day with out my feet hurting.
I am having an easier time keeping my sugar levels down and I have also noticed a improvement in my sleep and more energy.

I was diagnosed with graves disease in 1992 and took the radiation pill to kill off my thyroid. However thyroid was overactive for so long that the graves disease had progressed to the point of protruding eyes. My eyes water all the time and light makes it worse. I have had to have glasses for double vision caused by the protruding of the eyes. This condition has only gotten worse..
On January 9th I saw an ophthalmologist to see what my options were for correcting my eyes. He measured the protrusion and the space where my eyes do not close when I blink or close them. He then gave me eye drops for the watering of the eyes and to help on the irritation from light, reading and computer work.
He then gave me my 3 options for correcting the cause of everything.
1. I could take Steroids. (not a good option, because it causes weight gain and problems with vital organs.)
2. I could take Radiation Treatments. (15 to 20 treatments, 1 every day, which are concentrated directly on the eyes.)
3. I could have eye surgery. (This would mean scraping behind the eyeballs to clear out the matter growing and pushing the eye out.)
He also insisted that I see an Endocrinologist to make sure my thyroid has been stable long enough to do one of the treatment choices he gave me.
I started taking Natures Healthy Essentials Fruits & Vegetables on January 20th. I started taking them because, like most people, I do not get enough fruit & vegetables in my diet. Adding to this problem is the fact that I don't like most of them. I was hoping to also not get as many colds as I do each year and was hoping for some weight loss.
I saw an Endocrinologist on February 13th and he told me I was fine to do the treatments. My PCP and the Endocrinologist both recommended the radiation treatment first. The reason being that if it did not work I still had the option of surgery open to me.
I returned to the ophthalmologist on February 14th to discuss which procedure we were going to do and get it scheduled. He took the measurements again and was shocked to find that the protrusion of both eyes and gone down and that my left eye was closing completely when I blinked and the right eye, while not closing completely was closing more than measurement from my last visit. He had no idea why I was showing improvement.
He suggested we wait 3 months and we will see if they have improved more or if I need to choose between radiation or surgery.
The only thing I have done different is take Natures Healthy Essentials Fruits & Vegetables. I am sleeping better, feeling better and I am sure they are the reason my eyes are improving.

I am 69 years old, a diabetic (type 1) and have Crohn's Disease. My diabetes is in relatively good control and I am treated with oral medication only.
With reference to my Crohn's Disease, I take only sulfasalazine. For years, I have been plagued with diarrhea more days than not. This is a common trait with people who have Crohn's.
I started a daily regimen of Nature's Healthy Essentials Fruits and Vegetables capsules about two weeks ago and within three days, my intestinal system started working normally nearly everyday.
What a blessing this has been.

Dear Dr. Haggard,
I have been coming to your office the past 20 years. You have helped me in lots of ways. Two weeks ago when you gave me those fruit and vegetable capsules you did something that my other doctors have been trying to do for the past five years, lower my triglyceride level.
My triglyceride level has been running around 5,280. My doctors have tried all sorts of things to lower it with no success. My doctor called me yesterday and said to keep doing whatever I'm doing because my triglyceride count is now down to 840. The only thing different I've done is to take the fruit and vegetable capsules.
Another thing I've noticed is that my blood sugar levels are starting to lower. I've been an insulin dependent diabetic for the past five years. I'm still eating my normal diet. What a blessing to be able to get all the good benefits of all that fruit and without having to worry about the sugar. I'm thrilled to finally see some hope for the future.
